promos have now come to a close, with only results as the final outcome, revealing what we have learned, absorbed and applied. the feeling is definitely surreal, but it's not the end for we have one more year to come till the final lap faces us all. this is the arduous route we take as students in a country so competitive, pushing and vying to outdo all to lead that last lap. a closure only means that there should be no room for i-should-haves but rather i-wills coupled with i-do together with the acceptance and reflection in lieu of the final upcoming combat.
just thank God for all the subtle reminders with have touched my heart each time, with small efforts like encouraging messages telling me to press on or bigger efforts in teaching me stuff and figuring it out for hours. but being plagued by weird random dreams aren't part of the package. this poem is truly a reflection of our lives, that there is no way to tell the future except waiting for it's arrival and living it out. we all make mistakes cos no one is perfect but the only person who'll draw you back even after you've seemed to cross the Rubicon, is God alone.

(Author Unknown)
He does not lead me year by year.
Nor even day by day,
But step by step my path unfolds;
My Lord directs my way.
Tomorrow's plans I do not know,
I only know this minute;
But He will say, "This is the way;
By faith now walk ye in it."
And I am glad that it is so,
Today's enough to bear;
And when tomorrow comes, His grace
Shall far exceed its care.
What need to worry then or fret?
The God who gave His Son
Holds all my moments in His Hand
And gives them one by one.
there's an empty feeling deep down inside but to untie the strings and release is simply causing your own fall, yet to harbour is merely a buildup of pressure and like a balloon, will inevitably burst. i can't wait for sept to fly past for a whole myriad of reasons... i want to know the final outcome. but teomunching hurry get your exams over and done with and tanliqin dont think of your job so much.
i miss you loads. really. it's called withdrawal.
"In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."i miss you loads. really. it's called withdrawal.
