everything's different in a surreal kinda way. circumstances change, people do too. it's scary how a disease can simply rob you of of who you are. things change, people do. but can you really change that much? to someone who you're not? i'm that little girl in your eyes and nothing i do will change it. very soon you'll forget me and you'll say you never knew me. will i be able to take it?
in this ever-changing world of surprises, there are pleasant and unpleasant ones. many doors have opened before i've knocked and i can only attribute it to grace. i want to see a miracle. well, two actually. and perhaps a piece of intrinsic work? is that too much to ask for? nothing is impossible. with faith, all things are possible. of course, the pre-requisite for the requests are obedience and trust.

why can't i just be like him? obedient, forgiving, trusting, submissive. wagging his tail and cocking his head in anticipation with his ears pricked up and eyes shining with glee. a dog's life.
