how could i ever say thanks?

remember the time you first learnt to walk? you toddled around, grabbing on tight to daddy's finger, you inched your way towards the closest object. when you found that you could balance, you merrily let go of that secure grip and bound towards all the fun you could see. that was until your first tumble. once bitten, twice shy... so you cling on tight to daddy's hand once again and cautiously take those feeble steps. the pattern continues.. once you get comfy walking, you let go and run amok... until of course, that painful fall where you vow never to let go. but the temptation is too great and you release that grip once again to venture off to your own adventures. time and time again, daddy picks you up when you fall and brushes that scraped and bruised knee and lets you cling on tight. he never tries to stop you when you let go, because he knows you crave for independence and adventure. yet, every time you cry out in pain, he's there to hold out his sturdy hand and pace you as you take those baby steps again.

my rock, my fortress, my salvation.

thank you Lord.
