we tend to talk big yet act small. or maybe it's just our intrinsic kiasu-ism that makes us talk big to look important but at the same time kiasi-ism prevents us from walking the talk and we take little steps to actualize the visions.
so as i chanced upon the constant updates, criticisms, sarcasm, warnings and what-nots, this slowly formed up in jungle of my mind (meant to be taken with a pinch of salt with no offence intended) and well, you'd probably only get it if you're truly singaporean:
we, the citizens of Singapore, pledge ourselves as one opinionated people, regardless of haze, FTs or inflations, to build a socially connected society based on SGAG, facebook and twitter so as to combat haziness, absurdity and ignorance in our nation.
don't get me wrong, while there's a tinge of whatever-you-may-speculate-the-tone-to-be, i fully acknowledge that it's more or less a natural sentiment. right or wrong, it's neither for me to judge nor comment, lest i be another one of those painters painting the image of this little red dot on social media.
this is by far as political i'd ever go.
