touchdown to modern-day civilisation.

and so.. 4 days have flown by. just like that. the journey together was longer than 4days itself, and the experience.. is worth a lifetime, well almost.

in exchange for truckloads of experience, advice and bonding with the secretariat team, there was...
<5hrs of sleep in 2days
a sinking permanent hole left in the mattress of rm2 where i sat for 3whole days keying info
memorable nights of entering data from dockets, into nominal rolls and many many many other insanely long lists
the demise of a huge forest of trees, destruction even greater than a forest fire

it's funny how the secretariat's experience seemed so arduously long, but putting it down in words it's amazingly short. it drains out any form of energy such that one runs on pure adrenaline alone.

but i must say it was a whole new experience learning so many things at a go, getting earfuls of advice at a time from any and every senior. i'm proud to say i can work excel triply fast now. and though everyone came out of camp black as charcoal and the three of us left as white as ever, we had our own fair share of adventure. those insane nights in the room, counting every possible number and documents was by far the most memorable experience. and though i was in singapore, 80% of hp's time was spent in indonesia. 1 second in singapore, 3 seconds in indonesia. how interesting.

just 1 of my twilight companions

in the delirium of fatigue, one does strange things

and as a whole weight is taken off our shoulders. we embark on preparation for UIP 08.
when you have to look away
when you don't have much to say
that's when i love you
