everyone is trying to reach the final ultimate target of A's, fighting for that place in uni and at the rate those pep talks are going, i'd say i'll be a nervous wreck before the exam nears. we tend to deem them useless and waste of time, but who can deny the fact that it does indeed scare you? that the very person beside you may very well be the person who takes the last place in your desired future?
this is why i can't believe i love my absolutely hilarious bestfriend to bits and still remain sane...
munch: the bio lab tech said i'm a nuisance!
syl: she'll rmb you for LIFE cos you've caused sooooo much trouble!
munch: no la i bet she'll secretly like me if i name one of my plants after her!
syl: HAHA first milk then plants.. really wonder what your next experimental target will be. and her impression wont change unless it's some nobel prize plant.
munch: hahaha next target you la, what else? rate of reaction to teasing against time :D
-and after an extremely long time-
munch:THIS SUCKS WHY CANT THE PLANT TURN INTO YOU
hahaha.. that insane toot really brightened my day..
QT sometime ago served as a perfect reminder that even though healthy competition pushes us ahead, selfishness will be the ultimate hindrance:
People who can set aside selfish ambition and genuinely seek the good of others have an attitude that pleases God. Do you remember how John the Baptist reacted when the crowds left him and began following Jesus? He said, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). sharing does indeed allow you to receive.. even if it's not in terms of grades, you get a sense of satisfaction and a wonderful feeling of warmth that you've succeeded in helping someone.
without saying a word, you light up the dark. and i truly thank God for you.
