agape.

as we grow up, we tend to reflect on the past, laughing over the silly things we did. we like to fantasize over the future, building our castles in the air. but the past informs and the present testifies, allowing us to steer our future and it is the very past that many of us tend to reminisce about, such that we try so hard to recreate that beautiful picture.

i like to think of one year back, and how my life was back then. i like to think of how a big part of it actually got better than thinking of the spirals that i've encountered for the first time this year. we all grow up so fast, it seemed like just yesterday that we were climbing and scampering around in grounders and feeling blindly in darkness. well all those were childhood games and times of the past and we all grow up. the kids we once were, are now labelled as the next generation.

Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
(Alfred Tennyson)
