the beauty of tomorrow.

"tomorrow" in the eyes of L.M. Montgomery is unblemished, free of mistakes.

and many great truths she spoke through Anne Shirley, a feisty, strong-headed girl who had me enthralled in her adventures, during my own childhood. from simple reminders, as such "Because when you are imagining, you might as well imagine something worth while", from Anne of Green Gables, to wise words "We should regret our mistakes and learn from them, but never carry them forward into the future with us." from Anne of Avonlea.

so simple, so true, but yet so difficult to abide. sometimes i wonder deeply about the stupidity of human nature - why do we keep going down the path of hurt, knowing what is in store? why do we keep letting history repeat itself?

"tomorrow" is a clean slate which we start afresh. we should bring along no baggage.

and from a biblical perspective, “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. (Ephesians 4:26-27, NIV)
the sun sets, and we move along
we let out, for a new tomorrow.
